A companion for solo raids. Hire it in the lobby, raid together, and shape it with a talent tree as it levels from 1 to 30.

What it does in each room
Crondis
Carries water to the palm and pours, so the palm fills while you deal with the room.
Scabaras
Works the floor puzzles with you, from the other side of the room.
Het
Turns the mirrors and helps on the seal.
Apmeken
Handles senses and vents alongside you.
Boss rooms
Fights beside you with its own ranged attack.
With the Twin learned, two buddies split the work: one on each side of a puzzle, or one solving while the other fights.

A solo raid at raid level 150 earns about 2,250 XP. Level 2 comes in your first raid, level 10 after about 7 and level 30 (110,200 XP) after about 49. Failed rooms and wipes give nothing.
Questions
What is the Raid Buddy?
A companion you hire in the Tombs of Amascut lobby, beside the Grouping Obelisk. It helps with the puzzle rooms built for more than one player and fights beside you.
Does the Raid Buddy make the raid easier to scale?
No. Raid scaling counts human players only, and the buddy never counts towards party size, points, loot, kill counts or rewards.
What happens if my Raid Buddy dies?
Nothing against you. Its death never counts as one of your deaths and never costs an attempt.
How does my Raid Buddy level up?
It earns XP for each puzzle room, boss, the Wardens and finished raid while you raid with it, up to level 30. Every level after the first gives a talent point.
Can I change my talents?
Yes. Resetting is free and refunds every point. You can reset in the Tombs of Amascut lobby while no buddy is hired. Changes take effect from your next hire.
